Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is seeking a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, promote sales, and run registers. The role includes POS transactions, processing of payments, and assisting with price tagging while maintaining store standards.

The position emphasizes high-quality customer service, dependable attendance, and the ability to engage customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening where applicable.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via the type of merchandise or help from a leader.
• Completes closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave.
