Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Customer Service Desk Associate in Indianapolis to assist customers, process sales and demonstrate the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk.
• Must be 18+ years old (and 19+ in some states for tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Able to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Related retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Perform cashier functions and money handling.
• Maintain checkstand area and cleanliness.
• Answer telephones and provide desk services.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders and transfers, gift cards and bill pay.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with policies and complete required logs.
• Handle EAS tags deactivation and tag removal as needed.
