Overview

The role of the Cashier I is to provide exceptional customer and guest experiences while ensuring that all transactions comply with company policies for revenue control.

Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service and prioritize guest satisfaction in every transaction.
2. Process transactions involving cash, credit cards, checks, and validation based on location parking rates and requirements.
3. Use a radio to communicate with the garage for manual transaction processing if necessary.
4. Document all transactions according to company policy via shift reports.
5. Be responsible for all cash received and tendered, following the money drop procedures.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the cash register area daily.

Qualifications

• Experience: Entry Level
• Language Skills: Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to sit for long periods and walk short distances.
• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, including computers and cash registers.
• Capacity to process cash and manual transactions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and smile during customer interactions.
• Adhere to uniform standards.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Organized, proficient with computers, and strong with numbers.
