The responsibilities include:

1. Processing all deposits, preparing receipts, and posting all patient, third-party, and general ledger payments received via mail, direct deposit, EDI, or in person.
2. Performing data entry of charges, diagnosis codes, and third-party insurance denial/remit codes as applicable.
3. Preparing daily deposits, processing remittance advices, calculating allowances, and handling general ledger postings.
4. Processing patient payments, refunds, and patient valuables.
5. Managing petty cash transactions, ordering coins, and maintaining cash drawer balances.
6. Providing customer service and assisting with training new personnel.
7. Operating standard office equipment and ensuring compliance with policies and confidentiality standards.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D, at least one year of related experience, proficiency with Windows applications, and strong data entry skills. Good interpersonal, analytical, and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
