Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Treasury Analyst to develop and manage cash forecasting capabilities for the company and its subsidiaries. You will lead analysis of cash flow trends, identify liquidity drivers, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions, capital allocation, and planning.

The role requires 8+ years of related experience or 10+ years without a degree, with emphasis on cash management and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash forecasting and liquidity management.
• Ability to analyze cash flow trends and drivers.
• Strong communication of trends to senior management and board.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of cash flow forecasts (short-, mid-, long-term).
• Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify drivers and risks.
• Communicate trends and forecast drivers to Senior Management and Board.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments and business leaders to gather forecast assumptions.
• Optimize excess cash and maximize returns per investment policy.
