Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Treasury Analyst to develop and improve cash forecasting for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and its subsidiaries. This role leads cash flow analysis, identifies liquidity drivers, and provides actionable insights for decision-making and capital allocation.

You will forecast short-, medium-, and long-term cash flows, partner with multiple departments to gather assumptions, and optimize cash to maximize returns under policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree is required or preferred.
• 8+ years of related experience; without degree, 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze cash trends to identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Communicate forecast trends and risks to Senior Management and the Board.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments, and other leaders.
• Optimize excess cash and maximize returns per investment policy.
