Job summary

United Safety & Survivability Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to independently manage billing, credit, and collections while supporting finance activities. The role collaborates with the Assistant Controller and Controller to optimize cash flow and improve financial processes.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in credit and collections, strong Excel skills, and experience with an ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of credit & collections, accounting, and reporting experience.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel advanced skills preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer credit worthiness and set appropriate limits and terms.
• Set up new customer line of credit accounts.
• Maintain credit files including W-9s and credit documents.
• Ensure customers are set up in Syteline correctly.
• Analyze AR, manage cash flow, and monitor delinquencies.
• Coordinate AR function with Assistant Controller and Controller.
• Process AR transactions including invoices and payments.
• Investigate short pays and ensure accurate AR balances.
• Prepare month-end schedules for close.
