Job summary

Synergy Staffing is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage billing, cash postings, and complex customer collections. The role requires collaborating with internal teams to resolve disputes and maintain accurate AR records in the ERP system.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in collections or AR, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proactive, self-directed approach to meeting targets. Bachelor's in accounting/finance preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in collections or AR; ability to meet collection goals.
• Billing experience with posting and records.
• Experience posting cash applications and reconciling payments.

Responsibilities

• Collections: achieve assigned collection goals; contact customers on invoice status; prepare and send collection letters; update CRM with communications.
• Accounts Receivable: update stakeholders on top past-due accounts; support monthly/quarterly AR forecasts; improve AR processes.
• Cash Applications: post cash daily for all revenue streams (domestic and international); assist with cash applications and audit requests.
