Job summary

Holland & Knight in Tampa is seeking a Cash Applications Administrative Assistant to join our finance team. This on-site role focuses on accurate posting in the Cash Applications department and delivering clerical support in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle payment backup, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with internal and external customers, contributing to timely receivable resolution and overall financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant legal work experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in Cash Application and/or general accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting function and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and producing payment backup as needed.
• Investigate and resolve receivable inquiries, as well as monitor and respond to department email inquiries.
• Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, or mail.
• Special projects and duties as assigned.
