Job summary

AHRC NYC is seeking a Case Manager for its Employment Business Services (EBS) Queens Train and Earn program in New York, NY. The role supports youth and young adults 16–24, coordinating services to help them gain employment and pursue education or training opportunities.

The position offers Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (35 hours/week) with a compensation package of $38,000–$42,000 plus extensive health benefits, including free medical insurance. AHRC NYC is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; or
• Associate’s degree with relevant city systems experience; or
• At least three years in case management/counseling with city systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support services for individuals on caseload
• Assist participants with paperwork and administrative duties
• Develop service plans to support employment goals
• Assess participants and maintain progress notes
• Deliver training/work readiness curriculum when needed
• Maintain relationships with staff and partners for job seeker success
• Provide coverage during staff absences
• Perform other duties as assigned
