Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Case Manager Generalist to provide on-site case management for low acuity clients, coordinating a full range of services and resources. You will conduct screenings, develop action plans, and advocate for clients in collaboration with a service team.

The role requires a fingerprint clearance, the ability to handle stressful situations, and a commitment to VOALA's mission of helping vulnerable populations. Some duties may evolve with program needs.

Qualifications

• Must pass a fingerprint clearance, background check including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications.
• Ability to perform under emotional stress and conflicts while serving vulnerable clients.
• HS/GED completion with VOALA training within 6 months of hire or higher academic degree requirements as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to low acuity clients and coordinate services.
• Conduct screenings and assessments to collect housing, employment, health and psycho-social information.
• Develop individualized case plans and connect clients to resources to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Coordinate case conferences, monitor progress, and advocate for clients before external bodies.
• On-site duties required; report to work on-site daily.
• Engage in outreach and coaching to support participant progress.

Education

HS/GED. Completion of VOALA Case Management training within 6 months of hire.

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services related field in lieu of experience
