Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Case Manager Generalist to provide on-site case management for low-acuity clients. You will coordinate services, assess needs, and connect clients with available resources to support housing, health, and daily living goals.

The role requires fingerprint clearance, ability to work with challenging clients, and a commitment to serving vulnerable populations. This is an on-site position with opportunities to collaborate across VOALA programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.
• HS/GED required; VOALA Case Management training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments to collect functional, psycho-social, and housing information.
• Develop and coordinate case plans; link clients to services and resources.
• Coordinate case conferences and monitor progress on case plans.
• Advocate for clients before agencies and community bodies.
• Perform duties on-site as part of the case management team.
