Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is hiring a Case Manager to support refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants. The role focuses on resettlement, service planning, and connectivity to community resources, with responsibilities spanning in-home and field-based work.

The position emphasizes multilingual, culturally competent service delivery, client advocacy, and collaboration with partners. A valid driver’s license and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural setting.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Google Suite and Office365.
• Valid state driver license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain case management for refugee clients per contracts.
• Develop strength-based service plans to overcome barriers.
• Connect clients with community networks for long-term integration.
• Provide transportation to appointments and ensure language access.
• In-home services including needs assessments and referrals as needed.
• Keep regular contact with active cases and document progress.
• Maintain organized case files and timely reports.
• Coordinate services through referrals to refugee providers.
• Ensure culturally appropriate service delivery and advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with program requirements and reporting.
• Model professional communication and support among staff.
• Show awareness of cultural/socioeconomic factors in delivery.
