Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology preferred.
• Two years’ experience in case management, counseling, or direct advocacy for clients in social service settings.
• Experience with immigrants and immigration issues is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service and care plans with residents and social workers; provide counseling, crisis intervention, direct service, and advocacy.
• Link residents to external and community-based services; develop a resource network for referrals.
• Meet residents weekly to assess progress and modify plans as needed; conduct routine room inspections.
• Assist with enrollment in public benefits and DHS programs; coordinate with immigration services when applicable.
