Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) is seeking a Case Manager Generalist to provide on-site case management for clients with low acuity and coordinate services to meet diverse needs. The role involves developing action plans, advocating with community agencies, and supporting outreach to engage participants in available programs.

A fingerprint clearance and at least 1 year in case management are required; HS/GED is necessary, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services related field

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year general experience in case management or similar social services role
• Ability to work with diverse clients and handle challenging situations
• Fingerprint clearance and background check required

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site case management to clients with low acuity
• Coordinate services and care with internal teams and external providers
• Advocate for clients before community and social service agencies
• Develop detailed action plans to meet clients’ needs and goals
• Support outreach and engagement to connect participants with programs
