Job summary

Road To Responsibility Inc. is seeking a full-time Employment/Support Specialist to plan and coordinate employment services for individuals transitioning from day services to competitive employment.

You will counsel clients, prepare progress notes and plans, and collaborate with the Program Director to develop programs and cover shifts as needed. The role requires a BA/BS and 2–4 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with required trainings including CORI.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and/or 2-4 years related experience or training.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate employment services for assigned caseload and referrals.
• Develop strategies to transition individuals to supported/community-based employment.
• Provide employment-related counseling to individuals and families.
• Prepare progress notes, ISP, assessments and annual review objectives.
• Assist Program Director with administrative duties and program development.
• Provide transportation and on-the-job training as needed.
