Job summary

Road To Responsibility Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include case management, documenting progress notes, assisting with daily living activities, and coordinating medical appointments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent, or a HS diploma with two years of direct experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or HS diploma with 2 years direct experience in human services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and internet research.
• Residential experience preferred; valid driver’s license and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational duties assigned by Residential Manager (e.g., medication ordering, banking assistance, shopping, staff training).
• Conduct case management tasks: progress notes, ISP development, assessments, and annual reviews.
• Attend meetings, document minutes, meet deadlines for program paperwork, and support program development and evaluation.
• Record data and oversee shift documentation to ensure accurate reporting by staff.
• Instruct and supervise individuals in community living and assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments.
