The GEO Group, Inc. currently seeks an Assistant Case Manager for its Day Reporting Center operations in California. The role supports case management, participant intake, and coordination with Case Managers, following evidence-based practices to assist participants and staff.

Responsibilities include initial intake, data entry, reporting, and facilitating CBT and life-skills programs. Strong organizational, customer service, and bilingual skills are valued; benefits are comprehensive for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Human Services or business preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in Human Services field with direct participant services preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with minority populations preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet participants entering the facility and assist during check-in.
• May perform breath analysis on participants and record results.
• Complete intake process including paperwork and data entry into the company database.
• Provide general office administration and customer service to participants, customers, and the public.
• Assist Case Managers with case coordination and documentation and prepare reports.
• Help manage participant caseload and conduct risk/need assessments.
• Facilitate evidence-based CBT and life-skills programs weekly and document attendance and progress.
• Develop and monitor participant CMP progress through all program phases.
• File, chart, and perform data entry; handle opening/closing procedures.
• May install/remove electronic monitoring equipment and forward docs to agencies.
