Job summary

ATA in Union City, CA is hiring a dedicated CAS Associate to join our Client Accounting Services team. This salaried, full-time role involves managing day-to-day accounting for clients, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and preparing financial statements.

You will work with QuickBooks and Excel, ensure GAAP compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client deadlines. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is preferred, with strong English communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, or other similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in client accounting services, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in process improvements to support operational efficiency within the department.
