Job summary

RXO is seeking a Manager, Carrier Sales in our Brokerage group. You will oversee procurement, develop new carrier sources, run bids, and select carriers to meet service and cost targets. Expect collaboration with customers and account managers to craft effective carrier solutions.

You will lead teams, set targets, and drive strategy around mode buying, while negotiating volume discounts and ensuring profitable bids for domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the transportation/logistics industry.
• Experience leading a sales team.
• In-depth knowledge of Carrier Sales, including FTL and LTL.
• Experience in carrier rate negotiations and bids.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Carrier Sales management and RXO associates across the business.
• Lead Carrier Sales teams, set targets, and provide performance feedback.
• Own Carrier Sales activities for specific modes across multiple accounts.
• Develop initiatives and best practices within the team.
• Support growth of new and existing customers and expand accounts.
• Collaborate with Customer and Account Management to meet service and cost levels.
• Determine carrier rates and KPIs; analyze rates and awards per sourcing strategy.
• Prepare bids and quotes for domestic/international shipments with profitable margins.
