Ideal candidates will have procurement and transportation exposure, plus experience in sales or customer service, with the ability to work independently and across teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while working independently within authorized limits.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong carrier relationships and negotiate to secure carriers for freight.
• Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers for high-quality freight movement.
• Inform all parties of route changes, delays, or issues as necessary.
• Schedule pickup and delivery times considering weather, traffic, and service rules.
