Job summary

Buchanan Logistics in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Carrier Sales Coordinator to manage loads from pickup to delivery and maintain clear, proactive communication with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure flawless service.

You will track, update, and relay real-time load information, request PODs and invoices, and troubleshoot delays, contributing to accurate billing and high customer satisfaction through teamwork and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Proactively track assigned loads end-to-end, coordinating with dispatchers and drivers via phone, email, text, and other communication tools.
• Update arrival and departure times from carriers to keep internal teams and customers aligned.
• Relay real-time load updates to Account Managers and document activity accurately and consistently.
• Request PODs and invoices immediately upon delivery to support timely billing.
• Troubleshoot delays, service disruptions, and conflicts—using strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Proactively track assigned loads end-to-end, staying in close contact with dispatchers and drivers via phone, email, text, and other communication tools.
• Update arrival and departure times as provided by carriers to keep internal teams and customers aligned.
• Relay real-time load updates to Account Managers and ensure all load activity is documented accurately and consistently.
• Request Proof of Delivery (POD) and invoices immediately upon delivery to support timely billing and paperwork collection.
• Troubleshoot delays, service disruptions, and conflicts—using strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
