Job summary

Buchanan Logistics is actively seeking a Carrier Sales Coordinator to help maintain the level of service the company is known for. You will proactively track loads end-to-end and stay in close contact with dispatchers and drivers to keep operations running smoothly.

This role involves updating arrival and departure times, relaying real-time load updates to Account Managers, and ensuring timely PODs and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Proactively track assigned loads end-to-end, staying in close contact with dispatchers and drivers via phone, email, text, and other communication tools.
• Update arrival and departure times as provided by carriers to keep internal teams and customers aligned.
• Relay real-time load updates to Account Managers and ensure all load activity is documented accurately and consistently.
• Request Proof of Delivery (POD) and invoices immediately upon delivery to support timely billing and paperwork collection.
• Troubleshoot delays, service disruptions, and conflicts—using strong problem-solving and communication skills to drive solutions.
