Job summary

Spot Freight, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Carrier Account Manager to build carrier relationships and negotiate freight movements, ensuring excellent service and growth.

You will procure carriers, manage rates, and troubleshoot freight operations while meeting KPIs and contributing to pipeline expansion across the business. This non-exempt role offers a $50,000 base plus commission, with medical, dental, vision benefits and PTO; onsite 5 days a week in Charlotte, start date

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of sales experience required.
• Knowledge of the logistics industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure carrier capacity and negotiate rates to meet client needs.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships to grow the pipeline.
• Analyze freight markets to optimize carrier selection and performance.
• Meet monthly sales margin targets and service KPIs.
• Communicate proactively with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues.
