Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and secure competitive carrier rates and capacity for current and future loads.
• Use load boards, analytics, and digital freight tools to optimize pricing and service delivery.
• Verify carrier documentation and compliance with company requirements.
• Enter, track, and communicate shipment details in the TMS.
• Troubleshoot scheduling, compliance, or delivery issues and escalate as needed.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to keep stakeholders informed.
• Develop expertise in carrier supply, spot market pricing, and freight market factors.
• Support transactional load coverage and capacity planning with sales teams.
• Maintain on-time, damage-free delivery by coordinating with vetted carriers.
