Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

• Experience with computers is helpful, including knowledge of Excel and Access programs.
• Be knowledgeable with regard to transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination of goods shipped from origin to destination.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and vendors to meet customer goals.
• Develop capacity solutions to support customer needs.
• Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts.
• Conduct calls with carriers to determine driver availability.
• Negotiate transportation rates.
• Provide exceptional service to contracted carriers and internal customers.
