Job summary

Amazon is building the earth’s best transportation and logistics business in Nashville. The Carrier Services team supports carrier partners and resolves payment issues for daily freight movements into and out of our North American network.

This is a high-visibility role in a fast-growing area. You will pull and analyze data, drive process improvements, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers while handling multiple cases in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with computers and Microsoft Office.
• 1+ year of customer service or back-office roles in corporate environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Continual, tactical communication with external customers and internal customers
• Resolve Trip Status payment disputes for carrier partners by investigating claims and ensuring compliance with Amazon’s policies and SLA
• Prioritize and manage multiple cases while meeting or exceeding established daily resolutions goals
• Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) to assist with disputes case resolution
• Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations
• Escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
• Provide communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to respond to carriers sharing findings and details regarding the case resolution
