Job summary

Loadsmart, a Chicago-based logistics technology company with a globally distributed remote team, is seeking entry-level sales professionals to expand its carrier network and support shippers, brokers, warehouses and carriers.

You will negotiate market-driven rates, ensure on-time shipments, and help carriers use our online platform to book and track loads, while delivering customized transportation solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of sales experience or relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Be part of our team that expands the carrier network through high-volume calls, email, and in-person visits.
• Negotiate market-driven rates and ensure shipment on time.
• Enable partners and drivers to use Loadsmart's online platform to communicate, book, and track loads autonomously.
• Support shippers with customized transportation solutions.
• Relay carrier feedback to Product and Engineering teams to improve technology.
• Drive efficiencies through best-in-class technology tools.
