Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for carpet soft surface flooring to grow Shaw's profitability and market share in Eastern Washington, including Pasco, Richland, Kennewick, Yakima and Wenatchee.

Build strong dealer relationships through service, knowledge and integrity. You will conduct daily sales calls, present products to retailers and end-users, and manage displays and samples.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry product samples.
• Ability to lift samples up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings.
• Proficient with laptop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while knowing territory dynamics.
• Prepare business transaction reports and sales reports.
• Communicate periodic sales reports, market conditions and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics from computer reports to set goals and aid dealers.
• Control travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budget.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential products including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
