Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Kansas is hiring a Retail Territory Manager for hard and soft surface flooring to maintain and grow Shaw's market share in the Topeka area through Colby.

You will develop strong relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, present products, manage samples and displays, and use Salesforce.com to track visits and opportunities. The role requires travel, a flexible schedule, and a commitment to customer service while promoting Shaw Floors, Anderson

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of the Shaw sales trainee program can be substituted for experience.
• Must reside in the market - Topeka, Manhattan, or Salina, KS.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while monitoring geographic area activity.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volumes.
• Communicate periodic sales reports and market conditions.
• Analyze sales data using computer reports to set goals and support dealers.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budget.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential products including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, Coretec, and Philly Commercial.
