Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to assist carpenters and painters in Warrensburg, Missouri. The role includes responsibilities such as hanging and repairing sheet rock, installing ceilings and doors, and performing various maintenance tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a minimum of six months' experience in carpentry. Full-time staff benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, and educational assistance for employees and their families.

Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. A background check is required for all selected candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Assist carpenters and/or painters with rough-in work.
  • Hang, tape, and repair sheet rock.
  • Install suspended ceilings and replace ceiling tiles.
  • Repair, hang, and install doors and windows.
  • Install and repair floor tile and linoleum.
  • Install towel bars and soap dispensers.
  • Replace door closures.
  • Install and replace guttering.
  • Repair overhead doors.
  • Install fuse links and springs.
  • Replace stair treads and risers.
  • Assemble and finish small projects as assigned.

Education

Typical Qualifications

Education:
