Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to support a large-scale, high-rise residential construction project in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, you perform a wide range of rough and finish carpentry tasks while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety on an active commercial construction site.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair wood and metal framing systems for commercial and multi-family structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout specifications to plan and execute carpentry work accurately.
• Construct and install formwork, temporary structures, and concrete forms to support structural and civil construction activities.
• Install doors, hardware, blocking, backing, and miscellaneous finish carpentry components in accordance with project specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and appropriate measuring equipment.
• Install wall systems, sheathing, trim, and other carpentry-related components to meet design and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper layout and alignment to ensure all work complies with project plans, codes, and standards.
• Work collaboratively alongside other trades, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and roofing teams, to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient jobsite.
• Assist with general labor tasks related to concrete, piping, conduit, drywall, and installation as needed to support overall project progress.

Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
