Aerotek is hiring an Insulator for a contract-to-hire role in Grand Rapids, MI. You will prep and clean jobsites, remove excess insulation, and install insulation and spray foam using basic tools. Training is provided, and you will follow safety protocols including wearing a respirator.

Job Title: Insulator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Insulator to join our team, where you will be involved in essential prep work and cleanup tasks to prepare jobsites for insulation or waterproofing. This role involves tasks such as scraping excess insulation off joists and trusses. You will have the opportunity to grow within the company, advancing your skills from blown-in insulation and spray foam application to installing air vapor barriers. Comprehensive training will be provided, and you will work with basic hand tools and hoses connected to 55-gallon drums of spray foam insulation. A respirator is required during tasks, as the material is non-toxic but should not be inhaled.

Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
