Job summary

Aerotek in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Construction General Laborer to support on busy construction sites. This contract role runs Monday through Friday with a 9.5-hour workday and offers weekly pay with a range of duties from site preparation to material handling and tool operation.

We are looking for candidates who can work outdoors, lift and move materials safely, and obtain required site access credentials (DBIDS/REAL ID).

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites performing general labor.
• Ability to obtain DBIDS access and REAL ID.
• Reliable transportation to the worksite.

• Load and unload construction supplies and materials around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the workday.
• Follow all site access requirements and procedures to work on base locations.
• Arrive on time each day and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled 9.5-hour workday, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
