Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors across the community. The role includes cleaning apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices, plus laundry and linen handling.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, prior housekeeping experience, and familiarity with digital tools and health record systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal).
• Clean according to schedule for resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Launder and fold linens; restock supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance and staff; report repairs.
• Maintain effective communication with residents' families about care and wellbeing.
