Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments within our senior living community. The role includes cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and restrooms, plus laundry and linen management, all while supporting daily operations and safety.

The Housekeeper reports to the Maintenance Director and helps keep residents, staff, and visitors comfortable and cared for.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and applications (Microsoft Office, EHR, HR systems) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and laundry duties as assigned (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Maintain resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices per schedules.
• Restock supplies and report repairs or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with maintenance and staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families regarding care and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with team and follow management direction; participate in staff activities.
