Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform housekeeping and laundry across the community, restock supplies, and assist with reporting repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices on a scheduled basis, following safety protocols, and coordinating with maintenance to ensure a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in housekeeping preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR-related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) and laundry as assigned.
• Follow cleaning schedules for resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Collect and launder soiled linens per health and hygiene policies.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply and equipment needs and restock as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance to identify and report repairs.
• Communicate with residents' families about care as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to promote a healthy, welcoming environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
