Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will handle housekeeping and laundry across the community, following established policies and schedules.

The role reports to the Maintenance Director and requires a high school diploma, prior housekeeping experience preferred, and the ability to work with a team. Competitive benefits and supportive growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal.
• Clean according to a schedule in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Launder and manage linens according to policies to safeguard health and hygiene.
• Restock supplies and report needs to Supervisor.
• Coordinate with maintenance and staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
