Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a variety of dining service functions and maintain clean, sanitary dining areas. You may assist in food preparation, set-up for events, and ensure foods are served at proper temperatures and times.

The role requires ability to read recipes and diet orders, perform routine tasks, and interact with staff, residents, and families with patience and professionalism. Training in HACCP and infection control is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members; Hepatitis A vaccine may be required in St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assists with dining service setup in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items; ensures proper temperatures and on-time service.
• Assists with dining room setup including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Assists with all aspects of clean-up to maintain dining areas per policies and standards; cleans, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing dishes, removing trash.
• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards, defective equipment, and incidents.
• Maintains HACCP logs and records product usage and waste.
• Follows infection control procedures and proper PPE when handling waste and cleaning agents.
