Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year warehouse, data entry, customer service, or related experience.
• Knowledge of freight transportation and warehouse operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong data entry accuracy and proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to work with documentation, tariffs, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Enter and prepare work orders with complete instructions for dispatch, operations, and vendors.
• Coordinate cargo movement based on bookings and documentation including releases and terminal moves.
• Print and distribute paperwork to operations and relay upcoming volumes to dispatch.
• Provide timely updates to customers and send final documents by required cut-off times.
• Update account records, customer databases, and inventory logs.
• Respond to delays or issues and take action to resolve disruptions.
• Notify customers of cargo issues and request handling instructions.
• Prepare billing for completed work orders and assist with invoice corrections.
• Coordinate inspections with government entities when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
