Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine contractual liability.
• Conduct negotiations and establish reserve and/or claim settlement up to authorized amount.
• Examine customer claims of overage, shortage, and damaged products/loads.
• Review contract language to determine liability and financial impact.
• Determine causation, liability, extent of damages, and mitigation opportunities.
• Ensure documentation supports finalization of claims.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service, operations and clients to reduce recurrence.
• Maintain relationships with freight clients to resolve claims.
