Job summary

INH Properties is seeking a part-time Caretaker for an apartment building in Aitkin, MN. The ideal candidate will keep grounds and buildings in good repair and be available for after-hours emergencies.

On-site living is required. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, cleaning common areas, turnovers, and enforcing community rules. This role offers a supportive team and opportunities for growth for dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or relevant experience.
• Ability to take initiative and to problem solve.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to use common sense judgment in day-to-day matters.
• Live on site - required

Responsibilities

• Handle minor maintenance items throughout complex.
• Be available when on call for after-hour emergencies.
• Clean and maintain the common areas of the building.
• Keep the complex in the best state of repair and cleanliness at all times.
• Pick up paper, garbage, and debris from grounds and parking lots.
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the complex.
• Clean and touch-up paint units upon turnovers.
• Assisting with the turnover of vacant units, including cleaning and preparing them for new residents (end of month/beginning of month).

What We’re Looking For

INH Properties is seeking a part-time responsible Caretaker for an apartment building located in Aitkin, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to keep the grounds and buildings in good repair.

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

• Handle minor maintenance items throughout complex.
• Be available when on call for after-hour emergencies.
• Clean and maintain the common areas of the building.
