Job summary

INH Properties in Morris, MN is seeking a full-time, mid-level Maintenance Technician to help maintain our apartment communities and support daily operations with pride.

You will perform carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical work, assist with groundskeeping and snow removal, respond to work orders promptly, and communicate professionally with residents to keep our communities at the highest standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Drywalling, painting and carpentry skills are needed.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, drywalling and painting.
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal.
• Interior painting and janitorial to keep community clean.
• Respond to work orders promptly and communicate with residents.
• Assist with preparing apartments for move-ins and maintain property standards.

What We're Looking For:

INH Properties is seeking a full-time, mid-level experienced Maintenance Technician that will take pride in making our apartment community a great place to live!

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

When joining our team, you will play an important role by owning the following tasks:

• Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal
• Interior painting
• Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
• Responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Cleaning/Maintaining common areas
• Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
• Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
• All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Driver's License
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in multi-family housing
• Boilers knowledge is strongly preferred
• Boilers License or a willingness to get one
• HVAC certification strongly preferred
• CPO Certified or willingness to get certified
• Chiller knowledge

Working Conditions:

• This position will cover our properties in Morris, MN.
• Hourly
• Full Time
• On-Call
