Job summary

INH Properties is seeking a part-time, mid-level Maintenance Technician to join our team and take pride in making our apartment communities excellent places to live. You will perform miscellaneous maintenance, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep across managed properties in Minnesota and Iowa.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and solid time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with drywalling, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns maintenance tasks across the property, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Maintains grounds and performs snow removal as needed.
• Interiors painting and janitorial tasks to keep the community looking impeccable.
• Responds to work orders promptly and communicates professionally with residents.
• Ensures apartments are ready for move-ins and maintains community standards.
• Performs additional duties to create a great living environment for residents.

What We’re Looking For:

INH Properties is seeking a part-time, mid-level experienced Maintenance Technician that will take pride in making our apartment community a great place to live!

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

When joining our team, you will play an important role by owning the following tasks:

• Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal
• Interior painting
• Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
• Responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
• Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
• All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents
• Cleaning/Maintaining common areas

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Driver's License
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in multi-family housing
• Boilers knowledge is strongly preferred
• Boilers License or a willingness to get one
• HVAC certification strongly preferred
• CPO Certified or willingness to get certified
• Chiller knowledge
