Job summary

INH Properties, a growing real estate company specializing in property management and development in Minnesota, seeks a full-time caretaker for apartment buildings in Mankato. You will help keep grounds and buildings in good repair and assist with turnover tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, takes initiative, stays organized, and can handle multiple tasks. On-call after hours and on-site work at the complex are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or relevant experience required.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Good judgment for day-to-day decisions.

Responsibilities

• Handle minor maintenance items throughout the complex.
• Be available on call for after-hour emergencies.
• Clean and maintain the common areas.
• Keep the complex in good repair and clean at all times.
• Pick up paper, garbage, and debris from grounds and parking lots.
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the complex.
• Touch up paint units upon turnovers.
• Assist with turnover of vacant units and prepare them for new residents.

What We’re Looking For:

Due to recent growth, Hamilton INH Properties is seeking a full-time responsible Caretaker for apartment buildings located in Mankato, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to keep the grounds and buildings in good repair.

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

• Handle minor maintenance items throughout complex.
• Be available when on call for after-hour emergencies.
• Clean and maintain the common areas of the building.
• Keep the complex in the best state of repair and cleanliness at all times.
• Pick up paper, garbage, and debris from grounds and parking lots.
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the complex.
• Clean and touch-up paint units upon turnovers.
• Assisting with the turnover of vacant units, including cleaning and preparing them for new residents (end of month/beginning of month).

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• Minimum of high school diploma or relevant experience.
• Ability to take initiative and to problem solve.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to use common sense judgment in day-to-day matters.
