Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and disabled adults in and around Indianapolis, including Hamilton and Johnson counties. We offer flexible schedules, weekend shifts, and training; CNA/HHA experience is a plus.

You will help clients stay in the comfort of their homes with a range of personal care tasks and light household duties. We value dependability and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.

• Able to communicate effectively with office staff weekly.

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene assistance (bath, grooming, mouth care).
• Ambulation support.
• Dressing and grooming assistance.
• Assists with feeding.
• Engagement activities with client (games, conversation).
• Carry out nurse-taught activities (ROM, routines).
• Meal preparation per instructions.
• Light homemaking (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, laundry).

Right at Home is looking for passionate individuals to join a dynamic care team providing care for our clients in-home. We provide care for Seniors and Disabled Adults throughout Southeast and Northeast Indianapolis, Hamilton County and Johnson County. Experience preferred but not necessary- we will train the right candidate! Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides a plus. We are hiring immediately for weekend shifts . Caregiver Essential Functions

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $15-16/hour based on experience.
