Job summary

MyPath is seeking a Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive training for Home Care staff and caregivers. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, quality delivery, and staff development across multiple media formats.

The Trainer will collaborate with the Training Manager and Operations Support Director while maintaining training materials, tracking attendance, and ensuring certificates of completion. A Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of training or homecare experience are required.

• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Understanding of adult education concepts and training processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training via classroom, video conference and other media, addressing regulatory and job-related trainings.
• Maintain knowledge of service delivery structure and client groups to develop employees through curricula.
• Prepare for trainings by reviewing materials, preparing support materials, and assembling needed equipment.
• Deliver training in an engaging manner, ensuring accuracy and high quality.
• Solicit feedback from trainees and managers to improve training curriculum and delivery.
• Create, monitor and maintain registration, attendance forms, reports and certificates of completion.
• Maintain content knowledge through continuing education, certifications, and memberships.
• Incorporate organizational policies and procedures into training presentations.
• Monitor best practices to recommend additional trainings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional boundaries and cultivate a positive image of the company.
