Job summary

MyPath is hiring a Trainer to deliver training for Direct Support Professionals and staff, ensuring programs meet regulatory and contractual standards.

The Trainer will prepare materials, maintain training areas, track attendance, and pursue ongoing education to keep content current. Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends; competitive pay with full benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Communication, or a related field.
• One year of training experience or homecare experience.
• Is flexible, autonomous, responsive, has sound judgment and a high level of initiative.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding and working knowledge of adult education concepts and training processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom, video conference and other media forms of training for employees with regulatory and job-related trainings.
• Maintain knowledge of service delivery structure and clients to develop employees through training curricula.
• Prepare for trainings by reviewing materials and assembling needed equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized training area.
• Deliver training in an engaging manner with accuracy and quality.
• Solicit feedback from trainees and managers to improve curriculum and delivery.
• Advise managers on appropriate training programs to address gaps in expertise.
• Manage registration, attendance forms, reports and certificates of completion.
• Maintain knowledge through continuing education, certifications, and memberships.
• Incorporate organizational policies and licensing requirements into trainings.
• Monitor industry best practices to recommend additional training programs or improvements.
• Assist in development of new training curricula.
• Maintain professional boundaries with staff and foster a positive image of the Company.
• Maintain a work schedule to meet department needs and training assignments.
• Report allegations of abuse, conflict of interest, harassment, or fraud to management.
