Job summary

Senior Helpers in Carson City, NV is seeking a Schedule Coordinator to manage caregiver scheduling and ensure high-quality client care in a home setting. You will coordinate caregivers based on assessments, maintain records, and respond to scheduling conflicts, emergencies, and call-outs, while providing excellent customer service to clients and families.

The role requires strong organization, multitasking abilities, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Previous experience in home care or scheduling preferred
• Minimum of one year in a staffing/scheduling/logistics position preferred
• Knowledge of general home care/healthcare staffing preferred
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Team player with client interaction skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage workload based on goals, initiative, and prioritization.
• Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information.
• Maintain scheduling of caregivers and respond to conflicts, emergencies, or call-outs.
• Communicate caregiver changes and updates to clients/families in a timely manner.
• Track and record scheduling changes in company software.
• Assist in keeping caregiver files up to date and track expirations.
