Job summary

Senior Helpers of Columbia is seeking a Schedule Coordinator to manage caregiver scheduling and ensure clients receive the care they need in a fast-paced office environment.

You will select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers, monitor shifts, and maintain accurate records to ensure client satisfaction. The role emphasizes problem-solving, teamwork, and excellent communication with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service orientation and experience in staffing/scheduling/logistics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients.
• Maintain scheduling of caregivers and respond to scheduling conflicts, emergencies, and call-outs.
• Communicate caregiver changes promptly to clients and families; assist with keeping caregiver files up to date.
• Audit timecards to ensure hours match scheduled hours; coordinate shift back-fill as needed.
• Serve as point of contact with client families regarding schedules; promote positive relationships.

Education
